No Technology

Since your generation defines itself as being a very "tech-com" generation, think about what becomes important once you take away the technology that defines you. What effect does that have on your life? What experiences do you have without these communication technology? How do you see the world differently? Your blogpost will consist of these type of reflections.

I never realized how dependent I was on technology before this 24 hours. I found I had alot more free time that wasn't used on facebook, and instead I got ahead with my school work and set up reviews for finals. Without my phone I found I had less distractions and at the same time I felt almost isolated, like I was stuck inside a box while the world outside went on without me. I see the world differently now; without communication, would we all be as well connected without these forms of technlogy? Just in 24 hours, I felt like I knew no one and nothing that was going on. I felt constantly afraid that I was going to miss something. It was an unnerving, and also scary realization.
